ear junkies

She said it right.     While browsing blogs ran into another author who i related to.  We talk about how potent visual eye contact can be and how others often think they know you better than you know yourself.  La La La La La La ....What is wrong with people these days. I know...Maybe it Is what you allow them to see to scrutinize you? Maybe they Are listening to someone that is ear fu*king them with all the gossip.   These people know how to make you believe them whether they know right or not. Its going to sound good, so you believe it.  For all the Ear Junkies Out There, Pls STOP Believing EERYTHING you Here.  If you dont even ask me and your behind my back gossiping and when i see you, you dont say anythng, smh....  BE SMART and go to the source and find out yourself, see with your own eyes..be a winner...we winning.......dont be a loser and display JUDGEMental attitudes towards someone off of what you hear about them.  Pick your surroundings wisely..

Tyler Perry, Lionsgate, First Rated-R Movie 'For Colored Girls'

I just seen the Most Talked about Movie of the past Week.  Tyler Perry's 'For Colored Girls'.   Most of Perry's movies are whiplash-inducing experiences, alternately clumsy and powerful, pandering and bold, crude and beautiful. Perry's 10th film in five years, "For Colored Girls" -- an adaptation of Ntozake Shange's dramatic prose poem "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow Is Enuf" -- is his most problematic work. It's also his most ambitious. The movie has a great cast of black actresses including Janet Jackson, Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose, Kimberly Elise, Phylicia Rashad and Thandie Newton.
I was eager to see this not only because of TPS, but because I have a discussion board on my facebook page discussing with the fans, which character could they see me playing in a big motion picture film.  And one fan said a role in For Colored Girls.  I said wow.  Let me go see what he means internally.
I watched the movie and felt really bad for what was being displayed but also what was so true in this world of colored girls.  A girl that has it ruff, and finds way to cover the pain.  He sees me like this?  He doesn't know what I've been through?  Is he just saying this because Im a Colored Girl?  I felt some type of way about this.

Throughout the movie, there were plumbing depths of emotion that women rarely get to show in mainstream American films. Tyler Perry is hoping to get more recognition and some more cross over.  You have a relationship that is very abusive, involving the safety of the children, you have a relationship where the husband urges to stay with the wife, but desires for having sex with multiple partners of the same sex, and you have a relationship where  the mother is religiously disturbed even by her past, with two grown children that suffers from the truth their mothers reveal to them.  Colored Girls go thru things like this.

T.I Ordered Back to Jail for 11 Months

Declaring that T.I. “has had about the limit of second chances,” an angry federal judge on Friday sentenced the rapper and movie actor to 11 more months in prison for violating his probation.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., asked the court for leniency.
“I screwed up,” said the rapper, wearing a three-piece gray suit. “I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.”

But U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell Jr. was unmoved. Pannell noted that he had tried an extraordinary sentence with Harris, who was initially convicted of weaspons charges, by permitting him to stay out of prison while performing 1,000 hours of community service. The service consisted largely of visits with schoolchildren to speak out against violence, gangs and drugs.
“I think Mr. Harris has had about the limit of second chances,” Pannell said. “The worst thing is this case was an experiment.”
Pannell said he had hoped the idea would work and could be adapted for use in other cases. But then he looked at Harris and said:
“You certainly dumped a lot of smut on the whole experiment.”

T.I. was still on probation on federal weapons charges when he was arrested Sept. 1 in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were taken into custody during a traffic stop in West Hollywood in which deputies said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana from inside the car. They were soon released on bond.
After the arrest, a U.S. probation officer alleged that T.I. committed three violations of his supervised release from prison: possessing ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon. Pannell then ordered T.I. to appear back before him in court on Friday.
U.S. Attorney Sally Yates had recommended that Harris be sent back to prison for two years. Steve Sadow, his lawyer, had asked that Harris be given at least six months of home confinement during which he would attend an inpatient drug rehabilitation program.
